As our nation continues to grapple with the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we at El Monte RV are dedicated to doing our part to maintain the health and safety of our customers and crew. With that in mind, we would like to inform you of our cancellation policies, RV cleaning procedures, and pick-up / drop-off practices. Please check this page often, as policies are subject to change as the situation evolves globally.
"STAY AT HOME" INSTRUCTIONS
El Monte RV fully supports and respects the instructions of local and state governments regarding social distancing, state mandated quarantine orders and stay-at-home advisories and so our support and head office staff have been doing their part by working from home.
At El Monte RV we are committed to remaining open to support the community and our customers by providing temporary accommodation to facilitate self-isolation. Our RVs are fully self-contained and useful to those looking for self-isolation alternatives in effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 enabling people to be nearby, yet separated from friends and families.
We strongly encourage you to check with local and state Health and Human Services offices to learn if your state, or your destination, has specific instructions regarding quarantining, or has issued travel advisories or stay-at-home orders.
- During this period, we will not rent our RVs to those intending on travelling to events or other gatherings.
- Our stores operate according to appropriate social distancing and face covering measures, we ask for your patience and compliance with the guidance of our staff.
- We may also be able to arrange a delivery service to support with self-isolation, should this be a preferred option, please contact us for more detail.
- We remain open for business to assist our customers with transportation and temporary housing needs at this time.
IF YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR TRAVEL PLANS:
Please note, while we have additional staff assisting with changes required to bookings, however, we are receiving a large volume of calls, so we apologize in advance for any delays.
Customer Pickups
For customers scheduled to pick-up your vehicle up from our location during these dates not wishing to travel please contact our Reservations team. Our team can help you reschedule your travel plans.
It may be possible to change your booking to pick-up from one of our other locations around the country. Please contact our team to inquire about this.
Customer Returns
Please be aware that our regular shuttle service will not be operating, but our branch teams can help provide alternative arrangements if required. For San Francisco, Please check BART's website for changes to their scheduled service.
You may decide you want to change your booking to return at another location, if you would like to do this, please contact us to arrange it and we will try and accommodate you.
Extending your booking
If you are currently travelling in one of our RVs, and would like to extend your booking, please contact us and we can help you arrange this.

RV CLEANING
As an experienced and trusted provider of RV rentals for 50 years, El Monte RV maintains extremely high standards for motorhome cleanliness. Our procedures adhere to all guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on COVID-19 and we are fully confident of customer safety within our RVs.
