When you think of New Jersey, “boardwalk” should be part of the picture. The Garden State boasts several popular seaside boardwalk destinations. Besides the beach, they offer arcades, amusement parks, exhibitions and enough fun to keep you coming back. One your family’s going to love is Jenkinson’s at Point Pleasant Beach. Ride the miniature train and try your skill at the giant arcade!
Other family-friendly boardwalks to visit include Funtown Pier in Seaside Heights and Morey’s Pier at Wildwood. A day on the boardwalk is sure to build memories for your entire RV party.
The beaches of New Jersey aren’t just for sunbathing, though! The gorgeous Victorian village of Cape May, New Jersey has been proclaimed a National Historic Landmark, so make it a point to visit this quaint treasure. Another high point along New Jersey’s one hundred twenty seven miles of coastline is, of course, Atlantic City Casinos of every flavor dot the boardwalk, but don’t miss the museums, the spas and the tallest lighthouse in the state!
